Thanksgiving with the Bobbs

Another fantastic Thanksgiving spent with the Bobb family. My in-laws reserved the MACC (our community center) this year for our shindig. There were around (give or take a couple) 50 people present to share the festivities. The kids had a blast running around the gym after dinner and it was nice to have a place to get up and go walk around to burn off all that wonderful food!! Of course, we had enough food to feed 300 mouths!! Although, I'm sure after the troops leave my mother and father-in-law's house by Sunday there won't be a scrap leftover. It's so nice to see all of my hubby's siblings and their families. Most of them live pretty far away, so we are glad to get together! The cousins all had a wonderful time and will be sad on Sunday when their "best buddies" go home. Each one of my kids has a "special" cousin who they are close in age to and always look forward to seeing this time of year.
And of course, there is always the excitement of getting to see Aunt T. Tracey is married to my hubby's brother and she and Mike are my kids' Godparents. They ADORE her and love spending time with her. Not to mention, I do too. Trace is a true blessing to us. Her unconditional love to those around her is truly inspiring to me. She is such a wonderful example of how a mom, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend should be. If you happen to read this........Tracey, I LOVE YOU!!

This week I am going to try and work on some crafty things. Christmas decorations mostly. I really would love to deck this house out in all things sparkly and Christmasy (is that even a word LOL), but I have gotten the eyeball roll a few times already for mentioning needing help with outside decorations. Maybe I can sweet talk one of my hubby's friends into helping me.
